Yerse was founded in 1964 in Sabadell, on the outskirts of Barcelona, by Lluís Generó Domènech. Six decades on, the company is still run by the Generó family, a rare thing in an industry that so rarely stays this personal.

Knitwear built the brand's reputation, and it remains the backbone of every collection. More than ninety percent of the garments are made from natural fibres, and the aesthetic has always leaned minimalist, with clean lines and restrained silhouettes rather than anything borrowed from a passing trend.
