Founded in Southern California in 1997 by designers Jenny Graham and Toni Spencer, Velvet started with a simple but ambitious idea: make the perfect tee. Not just any tee, one that felt like a second skin and looked polished enough to actually build an outfit around. Turns out, they nailed it.
The brand has since grown into full collections of elevated everyday staples, but the tees and tops are still the heart of it. Yes, they're an investment. But the fabric quality means they wash better, hang better, and get reached for more often than anything fast fashion has to offer. We think that's worth it.
