Founded in Los Angeles in 2008, Rails built its name on one thing done exceptionally well: the perfect plaid flannel shirt. From that single style, the brand has grown into a full collection spanning dresses, knits, denim, and outerwear — all with the same effortless, California-cool sensibility it started with.
We love Rails for their fabric. The brand works with Portuguese mills to develop their signature soft-washed flannels and lightweight wovens, and the result is something that feels broken-in and lived-in from the very first wear. Once you try it, you'll understand the cult following.
What keeps us coming back, though, is how wearable everything is. Rails sits in that sweet spot between relaxed and refined — dressed up with heels for a dinner out, thrown on with sandals for a weekend away.
