Autumn Cashmere started in New York in 1995 with a fairly simple obsession: find the best cashmere in the world and build a sweater brand around it. Nearly thirty years on, that obsession hasn't loosened its grip on the collection.
The fibre comes from Alashan, in western Inner Mongolia, where the fleece is longer and finer than almost anywhere else, and it's paired with Italian-milled yarns for the cotton pieces. The result is a knit with real weight and drape, soft against the skin from the first wear rather than after a dozen washes, in colourways that go well beyond the usual cashmere palette.
These are pieces that are worth the investment. It's the combination of quality and attention to detail with a modern style sensibility that make them a consistent favourite with staff and customers alike.
