Toronto-based Jenny Bird started her label in 2008 — first handbags, then jewellery, which is where she found her footing and never looked back. A self-taught designer with an instinctive sense of trends, she's built one of Canada's most recognized jewellery brands entirely without outside funding, which is its own kind of impressive.

The pieces are known for being lightweight and sculptural — statement jewellery that doesn't feel heavy on the ear or neck, at a price point that makes it genuinely accessible. Michelle Obama, Hailey Bieber, and Selena Gomez are fans, though the brand has never paid for a celebrity placement. We love that.
